The total numeric grade will be the sum of several numeric grades as follows:
All tests are closed book/notes.
You should bring calculators to the tests.
However, you are NOT allowed to bring computer algebra systems such as Maple to the tests.
|Attendance:|| Required .
The attendance grade is calculated as "5 * the number of attended classes / the total number of classes".
(Officially excused absence will be counted toward attended classes).
Seats will be assigned at the beginning of the semester.
Instructor will not provide extra-help on missed lectures, unless there is an official excuse.
|Attitude:||You must not harm others by talking (even quietly)
during the lecture unless the instructor gave you the permission to do so.
Each violation will cause 0.5 penalty to your attendance grade.
